Great atmosphere, great service and food! Sorry I was to hungryband the food just couldn't wait to be eaten! My cousin introduce me to portillos right before Christmas while shopping. Today is April 5th, and I'm pretty sure I'm on my 5th return trip, and it is amazing everytime!

As a Chicago native, I'm glad to have Portillo's in the area, so I may enjoy on authentic Italian beef sandwich. I particularly enjoy the fact that they have sport peppers (small pickled serrano peppers) available for their hot dogs and sandwiches. The fries are tasty, too. This place can get really busy, especially at prime meal times and on the weekends, so be sure to give yourself enough time for your meal.

Arrived at the right time as nobody was there (people came trickling in slowly after, large location so don't feel crowded), able to place and receive order quickly. Food was delish and well of course had to get a slice of chocolate cake to go - best chocolate cake ever!

Portillo's is the best in all categories. Love those dipped Italian beef sandwiches and cheesy fries. They also have great promotions on their app. They do Chicago proud.

This place has such an exciting atmosphere for some reason; It makes you feel cool even if you're just waiting for your food. But on top of that, their prices are more than fair, they've got generous portions, and their food is quite good. If nothing else, get their Chocolate Cake Shake, it's fantastic!

Food is fire! Some top notch employees here. These are not your typical taco bell or McDonald's employees. You can tell they take great pride in hiring quality workers. Eating a maxwell polish sausage here in the middle of winter makes you feel like summer! I Love the grilled onions they use with the maxwell sausage. Something about it that makes it soooo good! I like to pick at the onions before taking the first bite, lol. You almost have to because there is so many on there. Place has a very unique vibe, definitely a must try

We got our food pretty fast, the place was clean and has a nice old school vibe. The employees were fantastic! The kids loved their chicken fingers, cheeseburger and fries. The hot dogs were good. If you don't like veggies, just be aware it has a big tomato slice and relish that looks a little different. All in all we were impressed.

All I can say is “Amazing.” I have driven past this place so many times thinking it was mostly a hot dog place, but omg, they have SO MUCH more! My daughter had a cheeseburger, I had the spicy chicken sandwich, we shared a shake and fries and wow, everything was delicious and absolutely perfect. Interior is funky and interesting, food is super. Thank you Portillos, we will be back!
